- 12 ounces cranberries, fresh or frozen
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 3/4 cup water
- peel from half an orange
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 thyme sprig
Instructions
- Place water, orange juice, and both sugars into a medium saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the rest of the ingredients into the pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the flame to medium heat and simmer for ten minutes.
- Pour into a bowl and cool at room temperature. Store in a refrigerator.
