- 2 lbs Green Beans
- 1 Red Onion ((medium sized))
- 2 tbs Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 cup Water
Instructions
- Snap off the ends of your fresh green beans, and run them through cool water to rinse them off
- Slice your red onion. You should have pieces about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a pan over medium heat, heat up the olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the red onion and sauté for two minutes.
- Add in your green beans and sauté for another 5 minutes.
- Add in the salt, pepper, and garlic, and sauté for another 5 minutes.
- Add in your 1/4th cup of water, turn the flame down to medium/low, and cover for 10 minutes.
- Remove lid and stir. Serve.
